Temporal Survival — Rage-inducing but forgiving.
Temporal Survival is a fully public and purely PvP server, attempting to create a more challenging experience like hardcore mode, but with other penalties that promotes long-term play.
One of the changes from hardcore is that instead of banning players, they will have to wait a certain time before they can respawn and play again after dying. This is calculated based on various play factors, with the aim that the better you do, the harsher the punishment. Right now, the respawn cooldown can range from a few hours to a few days.
You will spawn at a random location. There's two ways to go ahead:
If you are starting from scratch with a group of people, it's recommended that one of the players creates a team and invites everyone else.
Once people have joined the team, they can teleport to other team members with
/tp
in order to meet up.
The chat is divided into the following channels:
All channels are active (e.g. messages will be sent to them) by default.
It is recommended to make use of the channel switcher (/sw
) to only stay in the
global channel when you want to talk with people.
Be aware that this is a PvP server. You'll want to hide your presence in most situations. Certain activity will however always be leaked to nearby players.
